PRAYING FOR OTHERS

   Praying for healing of others is
allowing you to be used like an instrument of God. 

It is important to realize that what happens does not depend on you. You are merely the instrument.  Jesus is the healer.  You are being His Hands. You are being His Heart. In order to do so, it is necessary to spend time before praying with others in His Presence.  It is necessary to empty yourself of you so that you can be fully open to His Healing Touch passing through you. Divesting yourself of your ego is the first rule you must follow. When you pray for others you have to just pray.  You don’t solve problems. You just pray. You don’t push people down. You just pray.   

What prayers you say is up to you. Some people pray in tongues.  Others use formal
prayers.  Still others use scripture that may come to their minds.  The point is that you just be you.  Let God be God. If He wishes to work through you, He will.  If you do not have any word gift or anything dramatic occurs within you, perhaps your role is to be a member of the prayer team where your prayers help others be more open to what God wants. 

You begin to be useful in a healing ministry, when you realize that it is merely the Jesus in you reaching out to the Jesus in others and letting Jesus do the talking and the healing.  You begin to realize. He knows what He is doing. He’s been doing it forever.

 Father Bob McGuire ran Spirit Life Center in Plainview.  I was associated with him for a number of years. He had monthly Mass with prayers for healing afterwards. One day he asked me to become part of his prayer team. I really thought he was nuts. However, I accepted his offer even though I had no clue as to what I would do. He told me that all I had to do was to be open to God and God would help me pray for others.  He also said that in some way, God would let me know I was doing His Will. 

There was a line before me.  I was praying with another person for those who came up to us.  Father told us to ask for their name and to ask for their prayer request. He then said for us to pray in tongues or in any way that we wished and then get out of the way. I did as he asked.  The first person rested in the Spirit.  I was surprised.  I thought I did something. When the next person came up, I thought that he should rest in the spirit.  Nothing
happened. I then began to realize that I was not in charge.

The night progressed.  Towards the end of the line a couple came before us.  They asked us to pray for their daughter who was living a life style of sin and was unbalanced in her thinking. I prayed in tongues. I heard a voice within me say, “Tell them I am sending My Archangel Raphael to their daughter.”  I resisted. I said, “Do I have to say that?” The voice became more insistent.  I still hesitated.  Finally, I gave in.  I said, “I hear a voice in me saying that He is sending the Archangel Raphael to your daughter.” 

To my amazement, the couple began to cry. I said, “Why are you crying?” They responded, “You do not know us.  We are from St. Raphael’s Parish.”Bingo! I was in the praying for healing business. It still felt quite strange. Yet I still do it. My advice to you is to try it. You might find that you are gifted. The worse it can do is make you more aware of God’s Love. That isn’t so bad. Is it?  

 A MEDITATION

A NEW BEGINNING 

I gave you the title of this letter before you wrote one word this morning. Why would I do such a thing? Why would I choose such a title? You are with Me today. You have followed Me closely for years. You certainly are not a beginner. Yet, that is the title of this Love Letter. Have I lost it? That's a very funny question coming from one who loses it daily. No, My Friend! I have not lost it. 

Let Me explain. Every day in your world is a new beginning. You begin your journey with Me anew at each dawn. It's a journey that goes beyond time. There is a time fast approaching in your world when time will be no more. There will be a final New Beginning that will never
end. 

No! I am not speaking of your death. I am not speaking of end times. I am speaking of the New Beginning in the Springtime of Salvation for My Friends. I am speaking of the Fulfillment of My Promise of New Life within each and every friend who freely chooses to follow Me. This New Beginning is underway in the hearts, souls, and minds of those, like you, who surrender daily to My Way for them. The New Beginning is unseen. It grows in hearts surrendered to My Unseen but truly experienced Internal Love.  

Your world as you know it is already ended. It died internally within you the very first moment you said in faith, "Jesus is Lord!" Those three words expressed in your heart changed the face of the human clock. Those three words demolish the hands of time on any timepiece. Every moment in temporary thereafter became a stepping stone to the final New Beginning for souls honoring those three words in their heart. 

I speak My Three Words in response,"I love you!" Thus, We meet beyond time, beyond space, and beyond matter. I touch you deeply with My Love. From that moment on, time disappears within you. You begin anew. You walk in Love with Me. You become so enamored of Me that you begin each day with Me. My Love enraptures you. 

Of course, life in temporary continues. Yet, it has a different context. The values of temporary are meaningless to you. You walk in My Forever while you dwell in human temporary. You are not alone. There are millions like you. They cross over the line of time to My Forever internally daily. They blur the line between your world and My World. They walk in Love, with Love, and through Love. 

What does all this mean? It means, "I love you now and forevermore." I do not make apocalyptic predictions. I do not wish to scare you to death. Instead, I begin your New Life in Love Eternal Peacefully. I tend to My Garden of Paradise within you. I build My Kingdom of Timeless Love within you. 

I make My Miracle of Eternal Life right beneath your nose. I let you catch glimpses of it. I play cat and mouse within you. Each glimpse convinces you to begin again daily. Each touch builds My Love in your heart, your soul, and your mind. I ready you for My New Springtime that always is. 

Oh! I have really gotten you this morning. I snuck in while you were still yawning. My Friend! I am your New Beginning. I am Jesus, the Messiah. I speak in you with the assent of the Father through the power of the Most Holy Spirit. I am both Alpha and Omega simultaneously. I am the Love that makes new beginnings superfluous.

I am Resurrection.
I am Life.
I am Love.
I Am!
